Nepal: Sujata pinches the NC Lion, fresh fight expected soon

At an interaction program presided over by a globally acclaimed veteran Nepali journalist Rishi Dhamala, Nepali Congress leader, Ms. Sujata Koirala August 12, 2012, advised party’s senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba not to present himself as the party’s prime ministerial candidate rather focus on strengthening the party and consolidate the democratic order.

She also suggested President Sushil Koirala to immediately nominate vice chairman Ram Chandra Poudel as party’s prime ministerial candidate.

The lion has been pinched. Sujata has invited a cyclone which would soon hit the entire NC paraphernalia, analysts hope.

“Sher Bahadur Ji should now act as a guardian. He should involve in activities to strengthen the party. It is the role of the guardian to strengthen the party. Ram Chandra ji is the appropriate candidate”, said Sujata.

“The forthcoming party central committee meeting will present Poudel as the party’s PM candidate,” Sujata told journalists.

Sujata also stood in favor of holding another round of CA election.

The fight thus is to begin soon. It would though be a free amusement. Gaijatra perhaps will never end in Nepal.

How Sher “Bahadur” will react will perhaps determine the course of the upcoming cyclone.

  • Yes it is good to be next PM candidate of Ramachandra. Sher Bahdur Deuba already several times became a PM of Nepal. Why He is gready.When He was PM He taked the head of maoists. Even He has not got time to apolize or telling sorry. That is why Maoists party will not forgotton very soon.In political morality it will be good not involve in politics with Maoists. Yes Sher Bahdur should work hard to make Congress party strenth like the role of guardian. About only this case Sujata is right. Congress already out of track of BP Koirala, Ganeshman and Kishunji that is why Congress party himselves suffrering as well ordinary people also suffering.When BP criticakl position even He was not interested to outsted the King or monarchical institution. But so-called new Nepal political actors became sofar from BP path then they abolished the monarchical institution.. Comewhat may it is time to restablish the monarchical institution and creating the peace and security for people.
