Nepal Maoists Chief Prachanda is a liar: Sushil Koirala

Telegraph Nepal

Poor and frail Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala told reporters in Narayanghat of Chitwan District, August 12, 2012, that Unified Maoists’ Chairman Pushpa Kamal’s outright rejection to handover government to Nepali Congress is a clear indication of their idea to capture the state eventually.

To recall, a day earlier addressing a program in Kathmandu Dahal had said that his party was not ready to accept a Congress Government to hold the election.

“It is highly unfortunate that already six years in peaceful politics the Maoists are yet to shun the idea of total state capture”, commented Koirala.

Koirala asked, “Whether Prachanda is a person in charge of forming the government. How could he make such an irresponsible remark?”

Koirala told journalists, “Once tired of Maoists’ intrigues, I had told Prachanda to re-grab weapons and kill me”.

“We are the people who believe in ideology. We need not bow down or surrender to anyone.” Koirala all of a sudden got the much needed vigor back.

Sushil further criticized the Maoists Chairman, “Prachanda is basically a liar. While holding talks he makes you feel that he is totally inclined towards you. The moment he goes out and then begins talking completely different. One day people will be completely aware of his character.”

Had Girija Prasad been alive he would have suffered cardiac arrest observing the present sorry state of Sushil Da and the party he leads, critics quip.

But the fact is that late Girija Prasad Koirala (Rest in peace) was the carrier of the Maoists from New Delhi. He became the carrier to serve somebody’s “structured” purpose. Nepal produces world class “tools”.Importers interested?

  • His health no more permits him to take active part in politics as more often than not he is unable to handle pressing problems to its logical end.He is just whiling away his time.Perhaps he may be desiring to follow suit like former PM GP Koirala. Why are our So called leaders indulge into personal attacks to rival leaders? They are downgrading Nepali politics to the lowest level.
