K.P. Sharma Oli would have been a comedian had he not been in politics, critics comment.
But he is a comedian yet.
As usual he made an interesting observation in Damak August 10, 2012. However, this time he sarcastically blamed Nepali denizens for the current sorry state of the country.
The politics is upside down now.
“The Nepali people had dreamt of cultivating oranges out of chili pepper plants,” said Oli and added, “Making a jungleé party like Maoist the largest one and dreaming of peace and constitution is ridiculous.”
He told the truth but isn’t that his own party colleagues, Khanal and Mr. Nepal, went to Delhi-NOIDA to bring in the Maoists under Indian instructions? Oli can’t escape the blame and shift it onto the heads of poor deaf and dumb Nepali people who have already become a political laboratory for carrying out India sponsored “experiments”. Guinea pigs!
“I think that the people might have begun understanding the situation in the right manner.”
He made yet another interesting remark, “Why are we sparing our precious time demanding resignation from a person who has already resigned? Why are you elevating his ranks instead? This is the government run by foreigners and Dalals. Why not to throw this government out?”.
To recall, Oli has just returned from New Delhi after paying "duty-bound" tributes to the Indian deities.
He was accompanied by Mrs. Bidya Bhandari. Whether he made the new Indian President, Poltu dada, to laugh has not yet become public.
