Addressing an interaction program held in Kathmandu August 5, 2012, Chairman Mohan Baidya Pokharel ‘Kiran’ of Nepal Communist Party-Maoist claimed that to write a letter requesting support from the Indian regime by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Vice Chairman Baburam during the revolt was not only a betrayal against the peoples’ revolt but treachery against motherland.
The letter was written June, 2002 at the Indian PMO in New Delhi, to recall.
“On the one hand party cadres were told to prepare for a war with India and on the other they had exhibited their desire to submit themselves to India”, he said and added, “My fault was that I failed to recognize them properly.”
Delayed realization is not that bad.
Baidya continued, “In the same line, Baburam is presently serving India to the extent that he has turned into an Indian puppet. Baburam is committing a crime against his own motherland.”
Who cares mother Nepal these days?
“National sovereignty is being compromised under the so-called democratic framework,” he said while addressing the program.
