UML youth leader Basnet scolds former Nepal King: Report

The central chairman of United Marxist Leninist Party affiliated Youth Association Nepal  (YAN) Mahesh Basnet has threatened Nepal’s ex-King Gyanendra Shah that he may have to abscond from the country.

Addressing a program organized by the YAN Kavre District Chapter in Banepa August 4, 2012, Basnet threatened, “Lately Gyanendra under this or that pretext is trying to become popular. If he thinks that he will win the public heart by travelling across the country then he is daydreaming.”

“A few royalists howling to revive monarchy is insufficient to revive the institution of the Nepali monarchy,” he claimed.

“Maharaj Sir Uthaune Ku-Chesta” Nagara, Nepal Ko Simapari Saranarthi Bannu Parla”

“Your Majesty do not try to raise your head…You may have to take refuge across the border”.

“With the success of peoples’ uprising, the Shah rule has come to an end. Gyanendra is trying to befool the population by travelling across the country”.

 Basnet also threatened both Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Vice Chairman Baburam of Unified Maoists party to be limited in the pages of history if they do not come to terms to the demands being raised from the streets.

Drum beating or chest thumping on the basis of Mafia like politics is the norm then just hope the hell like situation does falls on us.

  • Ku Basnet, you are day dreaming. we need the institution of Monarchy,our pride of nation. we cant copy India or China,.Nepal is Nepal.by blood we are royal. By destiny nepali culture and tradition is monarchic. we need democratic monarchy in Nepal..A REFINED AND FINE TUNED MONARCHY.

This guy is a Vaatmarra'and he can not offend former king from himself. There is a place to take decission not from this stupid dump Pakhe Gawar. And mind it he is a former king, if he wants to settle in overseas he can live like a king in other country. So once again you pakhe feel proud and its pride for Nepali citizens we have a person like former king who is in Nepal and trying to help Nepali citizen's Aspects..

Basnet should be good nice tight beating and be thrown across the border into the mental assylum of Patna...because non-entity dogs like him will not be given refugee status by any country. Why are the non-entities in Nepal such big barkers. He thinks that he will become a big politician by talking ill of His Majesty's. His masters have been slapped because of this attitude that they carry and he will be slapped too.
