NC claims next Nepal Govt, BRB should resign on moral grounds

We gave both United Marxist Leninist and Unified Maoists to lead the government twice, claimed President Sushil Koirala and continued, both the parties failed to resolve problems facing the nation.

“It is now the responsibility of the Nepali Congress to take charge of the nation. The country is left with no other alternative”.

“Present government has failed to draft the constitution, it has also failed to successfully conclude the peace process and complete the militia integration process.”

“Baburam ji on moral ground should tender his resignation. If he does not we will remove him through street protests”, added Koirala whose own position in the party has become a shaky one.

Koirala interestingly also criticized President Ram Baran Yadav.

“We have been making the President aware of Maoists conspiracy to capture the state. He is however ignoring our repeated requests.”

Koirala made these remarks in Pokhara of Kaski District, August 4, 2012.

Sushil’s bête noir Sher Bahadur must have laughed.
