Republic of Nepal: Boon for Corrupts and Criminals claims Badal

Claims General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ of Nepal Communist Party-Maoist that the present government led by Baburam is the corrupt recorded ever in the entire history of Nepal.

The advent of the republican order, claimed Thapa, has turned out to be a boon for criminals hooligans and corrupts and a bane for the general public.

He did not however, claim that prior republican order established as if the people lived a comfortable life.

“Baburam has also surpassed corruption that took place during the entire Panchayat period”, he claimed but did not present data to substantiate his claim.

He quickly switched to another topic and said, “The person who in a deceitful manner dissolved the Constituent Assembly possess no right to conduct the election.”

Badal made these blistering remarks while inaugurating his party office in Pokhara of Kaski District, July 29, 2012.

He also viewed that there is no alternative than to hold a round table meet between various stakeholders to solve the present stalemate over peace and constitutional processes.

The round table will thus decide whether to restore the dead CA or hold the election.
