Nepal Maoists Chief Dahal is free to join our new party: Biplav

Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ of the newly formed Nepal Communist Party-Maoist while addressing a press meet in Chitwan, July 25, 2012 said, “Our party is open for unity. Even Pushpa Kamal Dahal is welcome to our party.”

“Any of the factions and even Chairman Pushpa Kamal of Unified Maoists if express his desire to come to our party, we readily accept them.”

“We had to split with the Unified Maoists Party because we observed that there was the trend to surrender everything to grab power.”

“Pushpa Kamal and Baburam are to be blamed primarily for the present sorry state of peace and constitutional processes,” he claimed.

“The movement led by Pushpa Kamal and Baburam has flopped. Thus the revolutionaries have joined their hands to bring it to a positive end”, he added.

Biplav added, “All those anti-national agreements reached by Maoists government such as BIPPA, airport handover, Upper Karnali and Koshi High Dam should be abrogated.”

“Our party is in favor of peace. If needed we will carry the weapons but it will also be in favor of peace”, opined Biplav.
