Nepal Maoists wish to impose dictatorial rule: Sushil Koirala

Nepali Congress President, Sushil Koirala has once again reiterated that the Maoists are hell bent on imposing an authoritarian order in the country by ignoring the agreements made and duly signed in the past.

Koirala says that the Maoists must abandon the habit of signing the agreements and change their minds when it comes to the implementation part of the signed agreements.

“The Maoists must refrain from doing such acts”, said a frail Koirala.

Unless the Maoists correct themselves and abide by the signed agreements in the past, the Nepali Congress will henceforth not make any agreements with the Maoists, said Koirala.

Koirala feels that the Maoists want to install a dictatorship in the country which apparently gets reflected from their nonchalance towards the implementation of the signed agreements with the parties in the past.  

“We will not enter into any sort of agreements with the Maoists come what may”, declared Sushil Da.

According to NC president, the country could not get the new constitution on time because of the self-suiting interpretations being made by the Maoists of the 12 point agreement coming down to the agreement that was made over the issue of state restructuring. mechanism. 

He predicted that such non compliance attitude of the Maoists as regards the implementation of the agreed upon accord will eventually boomerang on the party itself.   

Says further Koirala that “in order to save the country from going to the brink, the incumbent Prime Minister must resign and that unless he doesn’t resign, the nation can’t forge a national consensus.

The nation needs now a government under the command of the Nepali Congress which will bring the country out from the present political conundrum, concluded Koirala.

Senior Koirala made these observations in Kathmandu, July 20, 2012, while talking to his party cadres.

  • All of those messes are cause of Girija Prasad Koirala and Ex-home minister Sitaula activities in Nepal. Sushil's master so- called Girija Babu successed to abolished the 240 year old monarchical institution and created the chaois in the country. That is why you leaders likd UML and Congress should accept the order of Prachand. In this way Prachand was a political teacher of Girija Babu.Monarchical institution was excelent but people could choose the King but gready Nepali top major party political leaders destroyed this country.
