Nepal CA body died as Maoists wished to impose Charter of their choice: Nepal

Telegraph Nepal

Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar surprisingly did not deride at Nepal’s former King Gyanendra Shah at a program organized in Kathmandu, July 19, 2012. He rather, as is his habit only took to task the Unified Maoists’ Party. This is news!

Madhav Nepal is not a merciless person as is being disseminated. Naughty detractors.

According to the senior United Marxist Leninist leader prime reason behind the sad demise of Constituent Assembly was the Maoist’s plot to draft a constitution based on their ideology.

“They wanted to draft a constitution based on their ideology”, he said and added, and “The fault also lay with us because we allowed the Maoists to join the parliament, contest the constituent assembly elections and made them a part of the government while they were equipped with arms and fighters.”

It was Madhav Nepal primarily who went in for a long search for the Nepal Maoists and in the process, as per the instructions presumably, found his Kumbh Mela lost brethren in NOIDA, New Delhi. The search was a dictated one but now has begun feeling the heat.Yet the lost and found scene must have been a sentimental one.

Madhav had to face humiliating defeats in the Constituent Assembly election from two constituencies. Yet he became Nepal PM for twenty three months. The beauty of Loktantra.

At another plane he also claimed that there lay no possibility of another round of CA election rather he suggested holding of a parliamentary election to resolve outstanding political disputes.

“We could hold a referendum to resolve contentious issues of constitution drafting such as federalism,” he also said.

  • The fact remains that everyone is getting overthrown. First the King, then Nepali Congress, in new election the UCPNM and UML will get overthrown by the Ethnic Leaders. If they fail they'll again be overthrown until the new able leaders emerge. First the country was united by the King, now our neighbors are keeping us intact. Quite soon others will also join in to enjoy the show. Our neighbors are also reaching that point where the King was. Then they'll also deliver failure and will get replaced. This is the fate of everyone in Nepal, sooner or later everyone will perish.

  • You may say anything but everybody knows that NC and CPN UML were against the proposal of forming states based on ethenicity. That is the crux of the present problem.

  • Please shut this face. His audacity to speak the truth which was plain all to see then is now a awakening for this two time or place loser, speaks of his ethics, moral and corrupt mind set. He kept quiet when things went his way and now he percieves things slipping and now speaks self righteous.
