Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists Party has made it clear that unless political parties resolve outstanding disputes in a package, Prime Minister Baburam will not submit his resignation.
Package theory revisited.
The opposition parties have been claiming that PM’s resignation is the only key to arrive at what they call ‘national consensus’, says Chairman Dahal.
He said, “It is wrong to make PM’s resignation a single point agenda. With no alternative in sight the PM should not resign. If he does so, will only add to the current political vacuum.”
“There is the possibility of a counter revolution. The parties need to unite to check the reactionaries from defeating the forward looking forces”.
To add, fresh reports have it that Chairman Dahal’s son ‘Prakash’-who had fled the country along with a married woman Beena Magar- who is also associated with the party, has been located in Darjeeling, India.
On Monday the two were traced in Surunga of Jhapa District, claimed some Nepali media.
It had earlier been reported that junior Dahal was in Patna- capital of State of Bihar, India.
It has also been reported that junior Dahal had eloped from the country after withdrawing 70 Million rupees from local banks in Kathmandu.
Was the money so drawn from the banks his private earning?
There are also rumours that with his political clout sinking day by day, Chairman father Dahal might have suggested his son to leave the country with the money.
However, this remains to be substantiated.
Junior Dahal has a son from his second wife Srijana Tripathi. Earlier he was married to Ms. Prabha Bogati-the daughter of Maoists’ leader Posta Bahadur Bogati.
The forward looking revolution continues non-stop.
