Don’t sack Nepal CoAS, He is our man: Pranav tells Nepal Prez

Telegraph Nepal

The unbelievable has been made public.

To recall, the incident dates back to May, 2009 days when the then government led by Comrade Prachanda summarily had sacked then Chief of the Nepal Army Staff, May 3, 2009 who had been reinstated by Nepal President, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, the same late evening.

Out of humiliation, Nepal PM resigned May 4, 2009. Prior to submitting the resignation, the People’s War veteran had visited Lapsiphedi for inhaling pure oxygen.

Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal on May 3, 2009, had already handed over an official letter to Mr. Kul Bahadur Khadka wherein it had been stated in writing that “You have been elevated to the rank of new Nepal Army Chief”.

The official letter to Mr. Khadka was handed over to him by Chief Secretary Bhoj raj Ghimire and Lila Mani Poudel.

This meant that Mr. Khadka had replaced then CoAS Mr. Rukmangad Katwal.

Yes he replaced Katwal for less than five hours, as he himself claims.

Look what happened in the mean time as stated by Mr. Khadka while talking to Naya Patrika daily, July 12, 2012.

This time around, recalls Mr. Khadka that the UML Chairman Jhal Nath Khanal was in Beijing.

The Indian Minister Pranav Mukherjee first talked straight to Chairman Khanal and assured him that “You are the Next prime Minister of Nepal”.

Khadka has something more to add.

According to Mr. Khadka, after making a telephone call to Khanal, Minister Mukherjee made a separate call to Nepal President, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav.

Look what Mukherjee said to our “sovereign Nepal” President.

“He is our Chief of the Army Staff. Don’t sack him”, is what Mukherjee told Nepal President, claims Mr. Khadka. The Nepal President must have got the point.

For details read the Naya Patrika daily, dated July 12, 2012.

Yet this speaks volume of the secret as to who had energised our President while reinstating the sacked Nepali CoAS. Loktantrik order this?

Beggars can’t be choosers. Thy fate mother Nepal. You have been degraded.
