Nepal will never revert back to Monarchy: PM Bhattarai

Telegraph Nepal

Nepal’s Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai addressing the 37th convocation ceremony of Tribhuwan University stressed that the country will never revert back to the dark ages of monarchy, July 8, 2012.

Recalls NOIDA light.

“The country will continuously march ahead in the course of strengthening the republic, federal order, prosperity and social justice”, he claimed and added, “Nepal will never revert back to the dark days of monarchy.”

“Since republican parties have been divided over the issue of identity based federal order the monarchists have begun fishing in the troubled waters.”

As NOIDA fished in those days, if he recalls.

“The division observed in the parties is not based on ideological grounds and their programs. They have been rather divided for petty personal interests.”

Munna Bhai has perhaps once again entered into Nepali politics.

Prime Minister Baburam is also alleged by his opponents for sticking to power for his petty person interests.

Baburam also said that with the fall of the Constituent Assembly polarization has begun between forward looking and regressive forces.

NOIDA forces will definitely win as usual.

In the meantime, Baburam also met with Chairman Narayanman Bijukche ‘Rohit’ of Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party. The meeting between the two took place at the personal residence of Mr. Bijukche in Bhaktapur.

After the meeting, Bijukche briefed the media about the issues dealt with during his interaction with Baburam.

“I asked him about government plans to handover the management of TIA to India. He said that in the manner the issue is being raised is not true.”

“In the manner the issue of submitting the single international airport to India is being raised in all false,” Bijukche quoted Baburam as saying.

To recall, spokesperson of the new communist party, NCP-Maoist Ms. Pampha Bhusal had the other day claimed referring to government plans to handover TIA to India as “Baburam was born to serve India”.

Perhaps Bhusal knows Baburam much better than the common citizens due to her decades long association with him. She might be correct, observe critics.
