Nepal PM resignation is key to political accord: UML leader Nepal

Telegraph Nepal

The United Marxist Leninist Senior leader, Madhav Kumar Nepal claimed while addressing a press meet in Parbat District, July 7, 2012, that Prime Minister Baburam’s excessive lust for power is pushing the country into further chaos and uncertainty.

He perhaps forgot his 23 months long tenure in government as Nepal PM despite the fact he had lost the CA lection. Benefit of losing election.

According to his detractors, Madhav Nepal who is by all means also a power hungry politician had accepted the presumed imported republican agenda only when denied by the then King Gyanendra Shah in appointing him as the country’s prime minister.

Otherwise, Nepal used to be considered a staunch royalist. He could be from his inner heart yet. Who knows?

He said, “If we recall Baburam had claimed that he will tender his resignation within 45 days if he failed to meet the expectations. It has already been 9 months since he is stick to power. “This is one of the best examples of a Prime Minister’s naked lust for power.”

But Bhattarai did not talk of the people’s expectations! He may have talked of his personal expectations which remain yet unfulfilled. Mr. Nepal perhaps heard him in a wrong manner.

“The only alternative for consensus is Prime Minister Baburam’s immediate resignation”.

The primary reason for the failure of parties to promulgate constitution is the Maoists stand in favor of single ethnicity based federalism, alleged Nepal.
