A beaming Kamal Thapa, the Chairman of RPP-Nepal, has said while talking to Biratnagar local media men, July 6, 2012, that the emergence of a new political force is round the corner due to the past political follies, which culminated into the present day political stalemate, committed by the so called major political parties.
The new political force is about to surface because the country is undergoing through a period of political instability which has caused severe setback to the country’s dynamism.
He however, remained tight lipped and refrained from revealing as to what he meant by the emergence of a new but strong political force.
“The country’s present day state has come simply because of the political parties’ abandoning the theory of rule of law and going against the established democratic procedures”, added Thapa.
According to Thapa, the CA body died because the major parties did not abide by the universally accepted democratic norms and in the name of having consensus they just wanted to impose upon the people their petty political interests and preferences and in the process made the country the victim of their indecisiveness.
He declared that with the demise of the CA body, now the country had already reverted back to the period prior to the conduct of the CA polls held April 10, 2008.
“This means that the monarchy is already in a revived state”, Thapa concluded.
