Prime Minister’s political advisor Devendra Poudel ‘Sunil’ claims that the President has no right or whatsoever to disapprove any ordinance recommended by the government.
Open challenge this to Nepal Presidency. But is Poudel too a JNU Graduate?
“The President could suggest parties to hold consensus to bring the budget, but he has no right to disapprove it”, he said and added, “He has no constitutional rights to ridicule the recommendation made by the government”.
Caretaker government is no less than a LION?
“As per the interim constitution, the president can exercise no authority except in the situation of an emergency. He can do nothing except accepting the government request”.
The beauty of ceremonial status?
“If he thinks that he is the only legal entity remaining in the absence of parliament then a minor wrong move of the President could raise serious question mark on the legality of his own position,” warned Poudel.
So easy to serve threat warning to President in 12 point Nepal?
Poudel made these remarks while talking to Nagarik National Daily, July 5, 2012.
Dr. Yadav must have been trembling from within, hopefully.
