Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has declared that two third of the entire Nepali population have faith on the Unified Maoists’ Party.
A new snap poll? But which donor paid the bill? And which “company” conducted the poll?
Sponsored media war.
The Maoists’ leaders including Prime Minister Baburam and Chairman Pushpa Kamal have been making similar remarks to terrify the opposition.
Baburam nevertheless, tried to prove his assertion when he said, “Madhesis, Janajatis and Maoist if unite, represent two third of the population.”
But will they unite at all?
Baburam also claimed that the NC and UML demand for his resignation was untimely and irrelevant.
He also ruled out any possibility of reviving the dead constituent assembly. Baburam made these remarks at an interaction with the media in Ambathan of Sindhupalchowk, June 11, 2012.
“The CA died after completing its four years term and as per the decree of the Supreme Court, the demand for its revival is illegal”, he claimed and urged the opposition parties to create environment favorable for consensus. (So that he can stick to the Chair for more months).
