Nepal PM claims two third population favor Maoists party

Telegraph Nepal

Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has declared that two third of the entire Nepali population have faith on the Unified Maoists’ Party.

A new snap poll? But which donor paid the bill? And which “company” conducted the poll?

Sponsored media war.

The Maoists’ leaders including Prime Minister Baburam and Chairman Pushpa Kamal have been making similar remarks to terrify the opposition.

Baburam nevertheless, tried to prove his assertion when he said, “Madhesis, Janajatis and Maoist if unite, represent two third of the population.”

But will they unite at all?

Baburam also claimed that the NC and UML demand for his resignation was untimely and irrelevant.

He also ruled out any possibility of reviving the dead constituent assembly. Baburam made these remarks at an interaction with the media in Ambathan of Sindhupalchowk, June 11, 2012.

“The CA died after completing its four years term and as per the decree of the Supreme Court, the demand for its revival is illegal”, he claimed and urged the opposition parties to create environment favorable for consensus. (So that he can stick to the Chair for more months).

  • "AFNU AFNU RAG AFNU AFNU DAFULI " -this is called Nepali Politics !! Crux of the problem is everything was in the hands of a particular brand of people.Democracy was in its worst form in Nepal.PEOPLE who have been enjoying everything do not want to loose this privilege. They will fight tooth and nail. Janjati MPs belonging to NC and CPN-UML wants to break away from these parties why? It gives clear indication. Not understanding this situation amounts to-Pigeon closing its eyes seeing cat!!

  • I fully agree with Mr ukesh. Garnering 2/3 majority will be the gossip of dream for maoists in coming election. Any Nepali people who know Nepali language is by now fully aware of the West-India-Traitors syndicate and the Gaddars like Baburam and MF Prachande will reach to the Dustbin. New force among Nationalists and Democrats peace loving people will be emerged as a dominant political force to safeguard the nationality, peace, progress and democratic rights of All-Nepalese people irrespective of cast, creed, ethnicity, region and religion.

Bhattarai try to go to polls without weapons and your mad dogs you will lick the dust. This stupid thinks Nepalese are still naive like 15 years before.

  • Dakutar Babu Ram dont boast too much to puke level. Nepali congress carried the same feeling till moabadi took over. So now you too have inherited the congress disease. Reality on ground is that, two third nepalese think that had it not been maobadi in nepal, nepal GDP now would be satisfactory if not the best at par with bhutan at the moment. People could at least sell their skill and effort peacefully and at least earn their living. But now it is like FrOM PAN TO FIRE with maobadi reign. You carry a ugly feeling that NEPALI LOVED TO BE RULES BY COMMUNAL RACIST JANAJATI, MADHESIS AND YOU THE UGLY KILLERS. hA HA what a cruel joke you crack man. You ugly dakutar.
