Nepal: Indian diplomat takes NORDIC countries as stupid ones

India’s former Ambassador to Nepal in an exclusive interview with the Kantipur National Daily, June 11, 2012, Shiv Shankar Mukherjee claims that the role played by international forces particularly that of Nordic countries in Nepal have remained ‘uncooperative and silly’.

A proven silly diplomat observes everything to be juvenile.

He was the most erratic Indian Ambassador ever served in Nepal. Rakesh Sood just followed his steps. Jayant Prasad is copying the erratic activities of his predecessors.

To recall, he was the one who insulted the ruling nepali Monarch through TV remarks. 

He can thus humiliate anyone.

“Their support to Nepal has been silly. The sole idea behind their support is to have political influence in their favor”, claims Mukherjee.

Which were these forces, questions Kantipur daily.

Western missions particularly that of Nordic countries, Mukherjee interprets suiting to his own country’s preference.

“I am of the opinion that they are not fully abreast of Nepal’s ground realities. Though it does not look like interference yet they try to have their say in Nepal’s political process.

However, Mukherjee is of the view that Chinese growing presence in Kathmandu is quite normal.

Fears China. Normal with the Indian diplomats.

“China’s presence in Nepal as a neighbor is normal”, he claims and adds, “We do not think that China is extending support to Nepal against India’s security interests.”

  • Now Brahmin community started there activity seriously to do something.Independent Nepal never except any pressure regarding the sustainable peace and development in future.India and other country cannot divide Nepalese permanently. we are able to decide our problem our self.we have already established symbol of national unity. Foreigners may learn from us.

  • Nepalese History of independence , rich culture and justice base religious principle never discriminated any cast and region in Nepal..due to education and other choice for people,after abolish of Rana regime IN 1949,slowly democratic practices has started and educated Nepalese people were able to posting every where. Due to Lac of educated of Nepalese people ,some years before Indian Teachers served in Nepal.our short modern democratic history now criticizing as a discriminatory by the Indian diplomats and Nordic country as there national interest. Backward class and region isn't highlighting but cast and Madesh are only getting priority.This is not solution.
