Nepal Prez tightens belt, prepares to face the knocking crisis

President Ram Baran Yadav in his meeting with the leaders of Unified Maoists, Nepali Congress, United Marxist Leninist and Unified Democratic Madhesi Alliance has made it all clear that he will not be responsible for ‘accident of any sort’ if parties fail to draft the constitution on time.

The President appears that he has already tightened his Presidential belts.

Dr. Ram Baran had invited the party leaders for talks at Shital Niwas, Friday May 25, 2012.

Yadav also urged parties to draft the constitution within two days i.e. May 27 at any cost.

“You will have to bear the responsibility and its consequences arising thereafter for not drafting the constitution,” Yadav was quoted as saying by his press advisor Rajendra Dahal.

“If you draft the constitution people will be happy, else there will be a constitutional vacuum which may push the country towards an accident,” Dahal further quotes Yadav as saying.

What sort of political accident? Dr. Yadav however, preferred not to reveal.

The proven incapable bunch of “ Loot Nepal” leaders of the likes of Pushpa Kamal (Maoist), Sushil (Nepali Congress), Jhalnath (UML), Bijay Gacchedhar (Madhesi Alliance) were invited by the President for talks.

President looked annoyed and told the parties point blank that if they could reach to agreement to share their power in government why they fail to reach consensus for constitution drafting.

Money matters not the constitution Honorable President Sir!
