“I am no longer in the government”, said Krishna Prasad Sitaula of Nepali Congress.
Sitaula is talked to be the main man behind the Sudan APC scam but yet remains unpunished.
He also claimed that the government bill to extend the CA term by three months was entirely a wrong move. To recall, a day earlier Sitaula as the deputy prime minister of the country had supported the move. Feri aaarko line aayo hola!
He made these comments upon meeting the press men, May 23, 2012.
“It was a wrong move,” reiterated Sitaula when further grilled by the media.
When asked if he had tendered his resignation, Sitaula replied, “The Nepali Congress and United Marxist Leninists have formally demanded resignation of the prime minister. Thus my resignation matters least.”
“I am also of the view that the PM should resign. I am also not in the government. You should yourself understand the rest. I will abide by the party decision”, he further clarified.
Could have been a new mantra from Prasad!
