Prachanda is Kali Yug’s Ravan: India & EU funding communal conflict in Nepal

Telegraph Nepal

A controversial United Marxist Leninist leader, Mahesh Basnet is of the view that Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists Party is the new version of Treta Yug’s Ravan (ten headed person).

Ravan- the king of Lanka is an antagonist character of the Hindu epic, Ramayan.

Lanka is today's Sri Lanka.

Basnet drew the interesting similarity between Ravan and Prachanda at an interaction program held at Reporters’ Club in Kathmandu. Interesting disclosure. Never tried in the past.

“We had only read that Ravan had ten heads in our religious epics. Prachanda is also Kal Yug’s Ravan. He has ten tongues,” said Basnet.Heads must match with tongues.

“He talks different to different people. He is also provoking communal discord in the country”, added Basnet.

“The day will soon come when Dahal will have to flee from the country to save his personal life”, Basnet opined. A dangerous prediction indeed.

Basnet also criticized India and the European Union for trying to what he said “flaring up of communal discord in the country.”

The EU is the new target now.

“This is the right time to investigate how much India and the European Union have invested in Nepal to flare the communal violence in Nepal”, he urged.
“Prime Minister Baburam is also playing a controversial role. While he sends his wife to participate in ethnic protests, he himself criticizes the ethnic groups for thrashing the media,” continued Basnet.

The JNU tricks. Understand Mr. Basnet!
