Kantipur Report Misleading & Incorrect: Indian Embassy in Nepal

Telegraph Nepal

The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu was quick to rebuke a report published by Kantipur National Daily, May 18, 2012, where an official at the consulate general of India in Birgunj was reported to have provoked local leaders to shake Madhesh.

The press release, May 18, 2012, issued by the embassy is as follows:

“We have seen media reports attributing certain remarks to an official in the Consulate General of India, Birgunj, which are misleading and factually incorrect. Such attributions seek to detract from the friendly relations between India and Nepal.

India remains committed to supporting the constitution making process for the establishment of a stable, democratic and prosperous Nepal and will cooperate in the manner determined exclusively by the people and leadership of Nepal.  India desires positive outcomes in Nepal, which necessarily must remain Nepali led and Nepali driven”.

  • To solve suc kind of thing whensomeone is talking at that time taperecord could give detail why Nepali government authority cannot do that way. If some politician are talking something if it sounds come negative then they tuisted things. why they do not record show then it could clearify.Nepali communication minister should do that work without delay. As well if important person give speech one video tape should be in government pocket. that is why speech court should be restablish in coming constitution.

  • What are u talking about "committed to support" motherchod? U play naked hand from behind against Nepal and Nepalese since its birth in 1950. U never wanted peace in Nepal. U always played foul against Nepal and its sovereignty. Otherwise Nepal was so peaceful and progressing until ahead of 1990 revolution. Now u are so motivated by our anti national political leaders so called main leaders like Prachande chor, late hell girije, Sushile, Makune, Jhalluram, Indian Baburame to disintegrate our Motherland.
