Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists, President Sushil of Nepali Congress and Chairman Jhalanath of United Marxist Leninist will henceforth become the prime target of our protest programs, so declared Raj Kumar Lekhi addressing a mass meet in Kathmandu, May 16, 2012.
The targeted ones were all Brahmins.
Threat loaded statement this for the first time made against the present day rulers of 12 point Nepal.
Leklhi presently chairs the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN).
Lekhi was later found hobnobbing with C.P. Gajurel, a Brahmin again, who is one of the prominent leaders of the hardliner panel of Unified Maoists party. The Baidya panel has established a separate office in Kupondol area of Kathmandu.
“Our protest program will henceforth only target these three leaders,” claimed Lekhi at the mass meet and added, “They are playing with the sentiments of the general public.”
Suresh Ale Magar of Unified Maoists Party also expressed his wrath against the three leaders at the meet.
“The janajati groups need to jointly fight for their rights”, said Ale Magar.
After the completion of the mass meet, Janajati activists who were accompanied by some CA members became the target of police wrath as they tried to put on fire the effigies of Dahal, Koirala and Khanal. Speaks of the coming events that remain in the pipeline.
The incident took place in Gousala Area of Kathmandu.
