The Nepali Congress leader of parliamentary delegation, Ram Chandra Poudel is not at all happy with the allegation on major party leaders that they are drafting the constitution as per the orders of foreign forces.
Poudel made the remark while talking to Annpurna Post, May 17, 2012.
“It is highly objectionable, deplorable and irresponsible to make such an allegation”, said Poudel and added, “The party leaders are working days and nights to promulgate constitution in a timely manner.”
It had been reported on Wednesday may 16, 2012 that a team led by RAW Chief Sanjeev Tripathi held quietly held several rounds of discussions with Nepal’s prominent leaders before the parties arrived at forging consensus on major constitution drafting issues.
Arun Sinha from the RAW too was present in Nepal together with Tripathi.
Similarly, C.P. Gajurel of Unified Maoists Party had also claimed that the parties are promulgating a constitution as prepared by the foreign forces.
However, Poudel claimed that ignoring the sacrifices made by the major party leaders and instead blaming them of promulgating a foreign drafted constitution was highly irresponsible.
Poudel thus shields the fresh RAW intrusion in Nepali politics. He has to because it could be his compulsion. Poor NC leaders.
