Nepal Baidya panel sees India hand in May 15 consensus, protest to begin

Telegraph Nepal

Having failed to sort out their differences in more than four years time, Nepal’s proven inefficient and self-centered leaders who until the other day were fighting with each other like cats and dogs all of a sudden claimed that they have resolved their disputes in the contentious issues of federal structure and governance model.

Thus, sees the hardliner panel of Unified Maoists Party, the Indian hand behind the so-called ‘historical’ May 15 deal between parties.

Believe it or not the entire nation was taken aback as history is being made each month. May 2nd and May 15th, two history in a month! Must have been made by JNU History Professor currently in Kathmandu.

A Paan-Biri Dokandar in Biratnagar commented after the deal reached between parties, with Jhapa, Morang and Sunsari combined as a single state we will be the richest in the country. Yet, not all in the nation take the deal in the same way. At least, not the hardliner panel of the Unified Maoists’ party.

According to the Kiran panel, firstly, the deal was directly imposed by India.

The Newa: Liberation Front (Baidya Panel) said within minutes after deal reached between parties that the agreement has been imposed on Nepal by India and it gives continuity to the feudal structure. JNU Professor did his “assigned” job well.

Perhaps, in few days time, Amresh Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula, the widely believed men serving the Indian interests having Nepali masks, would very much love to reveal what had actually happened on May 15. Exciting that it would be.

Nonetheless, the Newa Front has declared protest programs in Kathmandu beginning May 16, 2012.

Also, Senior Vice Chairman Mohan Baidya and General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ have issued a joint statement deploring the agreement.

Statement experts.

“The model is only accepted to the panel jointly led by Prachanda, Baburam and Prakash,” the announcement reads.

The hardliner panel has declared several rounds of protest programs nationwide beginning May 24 to 27, 2012.

In the statement, the duo also warn against the conspiracy being hatched locally and outside against Nepal’s national sovereignty.
