Sitaula is Minister now, UML undecided: Accord reached in Nepal

Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula of the Sudan APC scam has also been inducted in Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai’s cabinet including some 11 more ministers representing the Unified Maoists’ Party and the Madhesi Alliance.

Sitaula had become suddenly energetic to give shape to a national unity government after his presumed meeting with India’s RAW functionaries, it had been reported.

RAW paid this time as well. Sitaula and RAW go together, comment even his own party insiders.

They took oath and secrecy of the office, May 5, 2012. But that necessarily doesn’t mean that one can’t cheat one’s own nation. Oath of office may also mean supplying of information but secrecy must be maintained, this is what is being presumed in Nepal.

The Nepali Congress has so far been awarded received two ministries. The other lucky fellow to represent the NC is Surya Man Gurung. Rest of the ministers representing Madhesi Alliance and Maoists’ Party are all those who were seated in the erstwhile cabinet led by Baburam himself.

The United Marxist Leninist i.e. party of eunuchs- as labeled by Nepal’s India groomed Prime Minister Baburam some two years ago, is still undecided whether or not to send their representatives.

According to an unspoken deal, each of the three parties, Maoist, NC and UML shall be accorded five ministers each in the cabinet.

Claims Ram Chandra Poudel of Nepali Congress, “We have been assured by Chairman Jhalnath that the UML will propose the ministers by Sunday.”

Sitaula rocks now and in the process will rock Nepal eventually for which he has been elevated, claim analysts.
