Nepal Muslims claim separate self identity, huge rally held in Sunsari

More than 25 thousand Nepali Muslim nationals took to the streets on Saturday, May 5, 2012, demanding non-Madhesi identity for themselves and formation of the ‘National Muslim Commission’ in Ineruwa- the district capital of Sunsari district.

Sunsari is the home district of Devi Prasad Regmi who had slapped Jhal nath Khanal some two years ago.

A dangerous zone for Nepali leaders.

The local security officials and some five hundred volunteers deployed by National Muslim Struggle Committee were engaged in controlling the highly agitated mass.

“The length of the entire procession in the highway was at least 1.5 kilometers long”, eyewitnesses have it and they add that the “numerical strength of the protestors was greater than the one observed during the Peoples’ Uprising-II in Ineruwa”.

The local Nepali Muslims were demanding separate identity for themselves in the constitution, the urgent formation of a National Muslim Commission, ensure fundamental rights of Muslims in the constitution, a separate federal state, awarding legitimacy to Madarsa education, ensure quota in each and every state organs and some others as well.

Mr prachanda it was you who wanted ferderal nepal. Now act. Give them ISlamic state. If other can hve it and you fight for identity why not moslems. There needs to be Islamic state in nepal which is filled is meccan madina madarasa and there is shariya law and all islamic bank in it. Now Mr PRACHANDA THE GREAT you have lighted this fire and now still you talk about identity. Now please resove this issue. they want it give them. you have said you will give all their identity. they want identity. The KAPUT OF NEPAL mr prachanda the narka of nepal mr prachanda you ruined our beautiful and peaceful country. why were you born in nepal and why dont you die early for the peace and prosperity of nepal and nepalese....

Sick and tired of federal.... Western region close for weeks and one bunch federal and other wants akanda western. Eastern region also close and chettris bahun wants united nepal. Minister kirati wants to hangs united nepal ones. Mr Chitra Bahadur KC is threatened to death. Dont you see the begining of civil war here. Now highly developed kathmandu with hospital and college Newa rajya claims that. The fertile and life sustaining terai belt the tharus and the madhesis claim it. This is fine but what would mustand get except snow. What would jumla humla get except badar ladne pakha bhir. We want a single nepal. We do not want 6 visas to travel our own nepal. We do not want 6 different rules in 6 federal state of nepal. We want a single nepal as it is very tiny with more power delegated to 5 regions with more autonomy. And this is it. But Prachanda daka pushing nepal to nowhere and civil war. Coming generation will never forgive him for demolishing the religion and ruining this peaceful country nepal
