Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists has threatened revolt if the new constitution fails to acknowledge peoples’ desire for change.
Change with the season.
He was addressing a mass meeting in Kathmandu organized by the party on the occasion of International Labour Day, Tuesday May 1, 2012.
Dahal also urged other political parties to exhibit flexibility and asked general public to make environment favourable to resolve disputes between parties.
Has the public been invited to Resort Hotels for free State Loot?
“If we fail to draft constitution with federalism based on identity and capability, no force on earth can stop revolt and the blizzard that will follow thereafter.”
He also threatened other political parties and said, “If you fail to acknowledge peoples’ desire for real change, the people on their own will chart their fate.”
“The process of integration has completed. I have made environment favourable for constitution drafting,” Dahal said.
Self praise is no recommendation Sir!
Dahal however, forgot to acknowledge the role played by India’s RAW, Indian Ambassador Jayanat Prasad, Akhilesh Misra, Krishna Sitaula and Amresh Singh of Nepali Congress in the integration process.
Loss of memory or the matter being deliberately brushed aside?
“Federalism and directly elected President are the basis for the change”, he concluded.
