Nepali Congress leader, Mr. Govind Raj Joshi has made an interesting comment as regards the party which he has been serving since decades and decades.
However, Mr. Joshi has made this remark after enjoying a long hibernation period. He was nowhere in the political scene for tentatively a year or so.
Addressing a program in Tanahu to mark the International Labor day May 1 st, 2012, Mr. Joshi was blunt in alleging that his party, the Nepali Congress, could be held responsible for the current sorry state of the country because the party had almost become the tail of the Left parties.
“ The nation is paying due to the follies of the party simply because the Nepali Congress has been yielding to the Left ideologies in series”, said Joshi who was the Minister of Home Affairs during late Koirala’s Prime Minister ship some fifteen years ago.
He warned his own party’s central leadership to abandon its unnatural proximity with the Left communist parties or else, adds an annoyed Joshi, the country may further be pushed to a point of no return.
