Nepal favours fresh State plunder, demands further CA extension

The constituent assembly election defeated senior United Marxist Leninist leader Madhav Kumar Nepal while addressing the constitutional committee meeting April 29, 2012, opined that Constituent Assembly term could be extended by a month.

Idea of fresh State loot mooted and that too from an election defeated one.

“We need to promulgate the constitution at any cost be it by extending the CA term by a month”, Nepal said without feeling being ashamed.

“We need to bring the first draft of the constitution before May 28. Remaining works could be completed next month,” explained Nepal. There remains mere 27 days before the CA term expires.  Munna Bhai exactly said this while talking to Nepali journalists some two weeks back.  

Except Nepal no other top leaders representing top three parties, Unified Maoists, Nepali Congress and UML were present at the meeting. Election defeat miracle!

Madhav also assured those present at the meeting that major parties are currently holding serious dialogue to come to terms over thorny issues of governance model and state restructuring.

“We are trying to resolve difficult issues. It will take some more time”, declared Nepal.
