Senior United Marxist Leninist leader Madhav Kumar Nepal who created furor among monarchists by threatening to jail Nepal’s former King Gyanendra Shah, the other day has opined that since the foundation of Loktantrik order has been laid in a strong premise, there is no possibility of returning to the erstwhile order.
Reports had it that poor Nepal had received threats from royalists living in the US and India for threatening jail the former king.
He must have been in a state of panic while saying so.
“The Nepali political actors are capable to foil all conspiracies and withstand all sorts of pressure coming from undemocratic quarters”, he said.
Whether Madhav Nepal’s definition of ‘undemocratic’ includes only the monarchists is not yet known.
“We are entirely focused on transforming peoples’ dreams into realities”, he claimed and added “Soon frustration and disbelief will be transformed into belief.”
Analysts opine that dream of the ruling elites will surely be a reality. Who cares the dull Nepali population?
Notably, Madhav Nepal has the distinction of being defeated at the CA election from two constituencies. A rare political commodity that Madhav Nepal is. Theories of political science remain only in books.Election defeat also pays in Nepal.
