Nepal Monarchy replaced by Autocracy: Kamal Thapa

“We want monarchy revived only to save the country from annihilation,” claimed Kamal Thapa of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal and added, “An individual is not important but institution plays a vital role”.

Thapa was addressing a program in Chitwan, Friday April 22, 2012.

“The Constituent Assembly has been limited to being a rubber stamp. It has no right to take significant decisions or whatsoever. The so-called leaders of big political parties sit at luxurious resorts and chart the fate of the country”, Thapa told his cadres and added “The three party leaders have become autocrats. There is an urgent need to strengthen democratic forces in the country to get rid of the three party dictatorships.”

“People fought to end autocratic monarchy for six years in the past only to land into a dictatorial order,” Thapa also summarised.

“The RPP-Nepal believes that democracy with monarchy, Hindu state and rights to grass root level rather than federalism was needed to make the country strong”, he claimed.

  • The stupid major top political leaders of Nepal abolished the monarchical institution.The king would be bad but monarchical institution was excellent in Nepali history. The modern Nepal was founder by PN Shah and now enjoying Socalled top major political leaders, especially PM Bhattarai and Prachand.They have no morality that is why our Nepal is going to worst day by day. In conclusion revival of monarchical institution is vitally needed. Majority of people would like to give verdict over monarchical institution.
