Miracle in Nepal Politics within five days: UML leader Khanal

If Chairman Jhalnath Khanal of United Marxist Leninist is to be believed then all of the remaining contentious issues of the constitution drafting will be resolved in mere five days.

Khanal is not a dependable political figure, warn his detractors.

Talking to his party cadres over Dallu telephone, April 19, 2012, Khanal said that Nepali political leaders were on the threshold of creating yet another history and to attain that it will take a mere five days.

Khanal has begun talking to the population over telephone throughout the country.

A new style of entertaining the deaf and dumb Nepali population.

Mainly people whom he talks are like-minded people mostly his own party cadres. Press note is issued after each ‘special telephone session’ ends. Face saving formulae this!

According to the press note, Khanal talked to a group of people from the district of Panchthar. The people-the UML cadres.

“There remain five contentious issues on constitution drafting. However, we have informally agreed on mixed electoral system. Before May 23, we will forge consensus on all of the contentious issues”, he assured his party disciples.

Thanks Sunsari's Devi Prasad did not talk with Khanal over phone. God is simply great.

  • Oh it is not 5 days. YOu have forgotton it Mr Khanal or you still trying to cheat people. It is 5 YEARS man. Dhatuware phone nautanki you have taken 4 plus years to do this miracle. You ding haking guf karing about 4 days and miracle. Shame on you mr chamero khanal jee. Remember Devi Prasad Jee you may get that again if you keep on telling lies and cheating people man....

  • What a surprise!!!! 180 degree turn. Just months earlier he was of the opinion that constitution drafting will never be done on time. Can we trust such politicians?
