The United Marxist Leninist Leader, K.P. Sharma Oli once again had an interesting but yet provocative piece on the Unified Maoists’ Party in Okhadhunga, April 18, 2012 while talking to his cadres.
“They once had their own army. Once upon a time they also used to be one of the largest party”, said Oli and added, “They still claim that they are largest but it is just the otherwise and simply a false claim. They have merely become like the elderly actors of comedy serials who for the sake of their personal pride keep on wearing the medals.”
Oli perhaps was referring to some Indian comedians as he “loves” India more than an Indian national, claim his own party insiders. Conversely, the Maoists take Oli himself as a top class comedian with Marxist tag.
Oli also compared the Maoists with a bitter plant found in the jungles and said, “The bitter grass grows very quickly and dies in four months.
“How can we compare a Pipal tree that grows slowly with a plant that grows fast but dies in four months,” he asked.
Oli also predicted that the life of the Unified Maoists Party is no longer than 20 years.
16 years have already passed.
He further claimed that the “Maoists came into existence beginning 2052 B.S. We are now in the year 2069. In twenty years period beginning 2052 the Maoists will remain only as deadwood”.
“It is unlikely the black part of the CA election history will repeat again” Oli hoped.
Too much hatred against the Maoists Mr. Oli may rebound!
