Nepal Maoists leader CP says billions of rupees gulped by party head(s)

Secretary C.P. Gajurel of Unified Maoists’ Party has alleged that the party establishment faction led by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has gulped billions of rupees allocated by the state for the Peoples’ Liberation Army.

Gajurel asked, while addressing a press meet in Gaighat of Udaypur, as to “Where has the money allocated to those nine thousand PLA men gone.”

“The commanders claim that they have forwarded the money to the upper echelon(s) of the party. Chairman Pushpa Kamal is entirely responsible for the corruption taking place within the party”, he claimed.

“Some leaders of the establishment faction have accomplished their class upliftment draining the national exchequer in the name of the Peoples’ Liberation Army”, also claimed Gajurel.

Gajurel also claimed that the deployment of Nepal Army in the cantonments was totally unconstitutional as it has been carried out without having the approval of the commander in chief of the Nepal Army.
