Nepal People’s War encouraging nepotism and bias par excellence

“Ramro Kura Ko Suruwat Ghar Bata Hunu Parcha” as the popular saying goes in Nepali, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has thus taken a great leap forward in eradicating poverty in the country by appointing his sister-in-law Durga Neupane (Bhattarai) as the member of the Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF). Giving first priority to home! Lucrative post indeed.

First People’s War victory noticed and registered.

Bhattarai, according to Sourya Daily dated April 8, 2012, took the proposal to nominate Durga Neupane (Bhattarai) at the cabinet on his own and unilaterally decided to appoint her for four years.

It so happens after waging a people’s war. Revolutionary act indeed. Well done Mr. Prime Minister. Nepotism too must begin from one’s own home.

Mrs. Neupane who used to be a house wife had been appointed as a contract teacher at the Padma Kanya College since Maoists entered Kathmandu from Jungles. She was appointed teacher of “Rural Development” under the Maoists’ extreme pressure.

To recall, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has already appointed Dr. Kayo Devi Yami and Timila Yami respectively as the executive director of Public Service Commission and director at the KuKL (Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited).

Both Ms. Kayo Yami and Timila Yami are the privileged sisters of Baburam Bhattarai’s consort and Unified Maoists’ Party politburo member Hisila Yami.

Revolution must continue once again from Rolpa jungles for encouraging nepotism and favouritism. Thanks people’s war for societal transformation. Some key relatives have already been transformed as per the targeted objectives of People’s War with some mix of NOIDA.
