Nepal 1990 Charter revival likely, Badal alerts his Maoists cadres

Telegraph Nepal

General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ of Unified Maoists Party told his cadres that the objective of the decade long revolt was unlikely to be fulfilled as the conspiracy is to revive the constitution of 1990 in place of a peoples’ constitution.

Addressing a training session in Fidim of Panchthar, Thapa while urging his cadres to remain prepared for another round of revolt also claimed that prospect of peoples’ constitution was unlikely to be attained because masters seated in New Delhi were against it.

“Our own establishment panel has stood against the peoples’ constitution. The administration panel is more focused on drafting anti-people constitution,” he claimed and added, “As forced by India, a constitution without federalism is being promulgated.”

That’s why perhaps Munna was here recently.

“In the midst of conspiracy, it is highly unlikely that the constitution will be drafted on May 27.

People must risk to take-up arms to get rid of the declared corrupts”, Badal thundered.
