When will Baidya be penalised, Hisila-Bhattarai asks Nepal PM

Telegraph Nepal

Addressing a mass meet in Basantapur of Kathmandu, April 6, 2012, on the occasion of the so-called ‘peoples’ uprising day’, Prime Minister Baburam viewed that the hardliner faction of Unified Maoists party led by strong nationalist leader Mohan Baidya ‘Kiran’ was threatening revolt in a fit of emotion and out of anger.

The mass meet was organized by the Unified Maoists’ Party administration panel where seated next to Prime Minister Baburam was his consort Hisila Yami-Bhattarai.

“Revolt does not take place under whims. The situation must be favourable. One needs to create a balance between national and international political environment.”

Bhattarai was perhaps indicating towards the fact that no revolt or a political change in Nepal was possible without enjoying the direct support of his chums seated in New Delhi corridors. Perhaps he recalls his own NOIDA days.

“In the 21st century”, Bhattarai opined, “The environment is not favourable for a violent Revolt. The revolt will nevertheless continue in a peaceful manner. We need to keep our focus on peace and constitution.”

He urged his party cadres not to get carried away by the provocative remarks being made by the Baidya panel and keep their faith on the party leadership.

The Unified Maoists’ Party politburo member and Bhattarai’s consort Hisila were of the view that the party leadership need to clean the mess created by the Baida panel.

Isn’t it just the otherwise instead Mr. Prime Minister?

”When will the party leadership penalize the Baidya panel”, asked Hisila her husband.

Good question. Perhaps Munna will determine the penal actions that Baidya demands as preferred by Hisila.
