India drafted Nepal Charter shortly being imposed: C. P. Gajurel

The cadres of Unified Maoists, United Marxist Leninist and above all, the Nepali Congress who had begun fearing return of monarchy if their party leaders fail to promulgate constitution within remaining 50 days need not panic.

According to C.P. Gajurel, who represents the hardliner faction of Unified Maoists, the party leaders are in the process of imposing India drafted constitution.

This is what has already been hinted by ‘Nepal fate maker’ while talking to the media men “collected” by Reporters Club.

 “India has already drafted Nepal’s Constitution”, confidently declared Gajurel addressing a press interaction in Kathmandu, April 5, 2012 and added, “The Nepali political parties are making environment favourable for India to impose their drafted constitution.”

To recall, Nepali Congress leader and elected Constituent Assembly member from the district of Nawalparasi, Dr. Shasank Koirala had also made similar assertions as back as in April 12, 2008.

“A new constitution for Nepal is currently being drafted in New Delhi under the guidance of Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai”, Koirala had said two days after CA election was held.

Baburam is currently leading the country as the prime minister, as Nepali unfortunate luck would have it.

Gajural and Koirala’s assertions have substance, claim critics.

Addressing a program in April 12, 2009 incumbent Finance Minister Barsaman Pun ‘Ananta’ had also served similar warning.

Addressing a Mass Meet in Rolpa, Ananta had said “There is the threat that the draft of Nepal’s Constitution will be made outside the country and handed over to us at an appropriate time.”

With less than fifty days left, perhaps this is the right time, add critics.

In these many years, critics suspect, Ananta himself has gone into the fold of ‘foreigners’.

Gajurel also held, “The conspiracy is to revive 1990 constitution replacing monarchy by republic. Such a constitution will not be acceptable to us.”

Professor Muni too has also hinted at the same but in an implied manner.

Analysts hope that the Nepali national anthem will also be an imported one very much similar to what the Indian nationals have.

  • yes Mr gagurel your party manifesto was drafted in Noida india? Dont believe ask your chairman prachanda. So how does this differ if this constitution in drafted in India. You all could not do it ya. At least India does it if all fail and china does not even bother in nepal critical situation. they are concerned about them selves one china only. Dont bother who wrote it look at the content and try to get the content right. Act do your job if you do not do it difinitely India china bharat usa amrika someone has to do it. hence dont bark do your job. You do it. you have been asked to do it and if you cant do it dont bak bak much
