Nepal PM Bhattarai in office as per Indian wishes: Dr. Mahat

Telegraph Nepal

Senior Leader Ram Saran Mahat of Nepali Congress Party has alleged that the government led by Baburam Bhattarai was in office as per India’s wishes.

Dr. Mahat’s brain is working slowly or else he could have said this decades ago.

He made the remark while addressing a mass meeting in Falasain of Bajura District, April 2, 2012.

Critics have it that perhaps this is for the first time a senior leader of the declared pro-Indian party ‘Nepali Congress’ has alleged their presumed masters seated in New Delhi was also behind Baburam’s regime in Nepal.

Critics even take Nepali Congress at the “tail” of the Indian regime beginning Nehru days.

Late Girija Prasad Koirala who became the prime minister several times until he died used to be taken as India’s puppet.( Peace be upon him).

Mahat also claimed that blatant violation of human rights is taking place under the Maoists’ regime. Unfortunately, the Maoists take the HR violation as a forward-looking change, he also claimed.

Mahat was also of the view that until Maoists surrender their weapons constitution was not at all possible.

To recall, Dr. Mahat several decades ago served the UN in Pakistan.

‘Chase India campaign’ has begun in New Nepal. More remains in the pipeline.
