President Sushil Koirala of Nepali Congress once again reiterated that his party will not compromise over the very essence of democracy.
Koirala warned in Udaypur, Sunday April 1, 2012, stating “Do not take democracy lightly. All the forces that have gone against democracy have been eventually wiped-out from the political scene.”
Addressing a press-meet organized by Press Union, Koirala also ruled out suspicion that peace process and constitution drafting process could be completed on time.
“It is an honor for the country to accept the federal order,” said Koirala and added, “We are holding talks with other parties to limit the states under federal order to six.”
Koirala also claimed that Nepali Congress and United Marxist Leninists have already come to terms over the nitty-gritty’s of the federal order.
The present government has pledged to complete all tasks related to the peace process within fifteen days, reveled the NC president and added, the environment is becoming positive.
“The Madhesi parties have been forwarding the agenda for one madhesh only to befool the Madhesi population”, he also claimed.
