The Unified Maoists’ Party General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ held talks with journalists close to the hardliner Baidya panel and clearly conveyed that his team will declare revolt if peoples’ constitution was not promulgated.
He held talks with the journalists somewhere in Kupandol area of Kathmandu, March 26, 2012.
In the course of the interaction, Badal informed that the freshly formed front will make people aware of drafting people oriented constitution at each and every electoral constituency.
However, Badal expressed that the party establishment has made the right decision by cancelling the central committee meeting and made environment favourable for a dialogue with the dissenting panel.
“In fact, we are holding talks with the administration panel,” Badal disclosed.
