Nepal Maoists Dahal urges NC, UML to compromise: Report

Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists Party who is known for his sudden behavioural changes and frequent off the cough remarks has apologized before the public in Chaimale VDC of Kathmandu Election Constituency No. 10.

Dahal was elected from the constituency in the constituent assembly elections.

“I had made various commitments yet I have failed so far to full fill those,” claimed Dahal and added, “As quickly as we resolve peace process and constitution related issues I will be able to fulfill my commitments.”

He was inaugurating a newly constructed school building.

He urged Nepali Congress and UML to make compromises. “The constitution that will be drafted will neither be as advocated by our party nor exactly to what they prefer. So let us compromise”.
