When someone asks who is the party chairman, we tell Pushpa Kamal Dahal”, so said Secretary CP Gajurel of Unified Maoists Party while addressing a press meet in Rajbiraj of Saptari District, March 26, 2012.
“It is altogether a different matter that Pushpa Kamal Dahal has failed to play an effective role as the party chairman,” he lamented and added, “We perceive him as a dejure Chairman. Nothing more than that.”
Gajurel also disclosed that Energy Minister Posta Bahadur Bogati had recently travelled to India and had provided clear nod to three anti-national treaties/agreements that were kept on hold for years.
“This is an anti-national government,” he claimed. Thanks Gajurel knew it finally.
Gajurel criticized Nepali Congress and United Marxist Leninist parties.
“It is the failure of the opposition parties that the government is surviving even with so many flaws,” he said and continued, “The government is clinically dead. Sooner it goes better for the country.”
“Finally, our own party will accept the constitution as wished by Nepali Congress and UML”, he claimed.
Perhaps he was hinting at the fact that the UML and the NC will act as per the Indian wishes which will later be accepted by his own party.
