UNSG Ban should visit Nepal following Peace Process finale: Mahat

Telegraph Nepal

Dr. Ram Saran Mahat of Nepali Congress is of the view that sooner Baburam Bhattarai government quits better for the nation.

“His government is the most corrupt of all governments formed ever in Nepal. Earlier this government resigns, the better for country’s international prestige”, said Mahat and added, “The countdown has already begun.”

“Either Baburam Bhattarai should submit himself or parties will be forced to file a no-confidence motion against his government”, also warned Mahat.

Mahat has spoken on the lines of C. P. Gajurel.

Mahat was addressing a press interaction program in Kathmandu, March 22, 2012.

Surprisingly, Mahat also claimed that the visit cancellation of UNSG Ban Ki Moon was a welcome move for the country.

“Even if the UNSG lands in Nepal at the invitation of Chairman Prachanda, that will ensure timely conclusion of the peace process,” added Mahat.

“The UNSG should not visit Nepal until peace process concludes successfully,” he adds.

This means Dr. Mahat is happy with the abortion of UNSG Nepal visit.
