Nepal Troika dupe people once again, claim consensus will prevail

Addressing a program organized by legal practitioners in Kathmandu, Friday March 16, 2012, three most powerful yet proven inefficient leaders of three major parties jointly sang the song of consensus in Nepali politics.

“We are totally committed to hold consensus to reach the target of timely conclusion of peace and constitutional processes. Do not suspect our commitment”, Pushpa Kamal, Sushil and Jhalnath said.

They also said, “We are now focused on holding consensus rather than making allegations against each other.”

Dahal claimed, “Peace Process will complete in two weeks.”

Dahal also ruled out any possibility of the revival of monarchy.

“There are people who think that peace process will derail and that will pave way for the return of monarchy and the system of panchayat”, he claimed and added, “It is impossible.”

Dahal claimed that Nepali Congress and UML were unnecessarily obstructing the peace process and advised both the parties to shun the idea that constitution drafting was impossible without conclusion of peace process.

Sushil yet alleged that the Maoists were not at all serious towards peace process.

Jhalnath also suggested Maoists to act sensibly as it was the largest party in the constituent assembly.

With these accusations and counter accusations, the redundant Nepali burdens still talk of forging consensus.

• Maoists workers spent good about 10 yrs with the people of the country.Their consensus is the people's consensus.
