The ‘disqualified’ Maoists combatants have served a three days ultimatum to the government to fulfill their demands.
The Baburam government had assured the former Maoists combatants, who were disqualified for integration process, to bring a rehabilitation and relief package for them.
A press conference was organized February 29, 2012, in Damak of Jhapa where the irritated leaders demanded immediate withdrawal of ‘disqualified’ tag on them and declare rehabilitation and relief package.
“We serve three day ultimatum to the government to address our demands”, threatened coordinator Sunil Limbu and he added, “Our demands must be met within three days or else we will declare a fresh revolt. The revolt will be against the Unified Maoists Party and the government. The war will begin right at streets and in villages.”
Cats begin fighting.
“We fought for class liberation and against the monarchical system,” he said and continued, “The monarchy has ended yet we are ready to fight for class liberation”, the agitated leaders said.
