According to Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda of Unified Maoists Party, political parties in opposition are conspiring against the existing amiable relation that his party shares with the Nepal Army.
The Army and his party fought a war, if one were to recall. The Maoists fired their guns from NOIDA.
Prachanda also claimed that with the Nepal Army forwarding its version of integration plan which is much flexible, the political parties are trying their best to derail the peace process.
Dahal also claimed that the Integration Plan forwarded by the Army was consented by the Special Committee for Integration.
He made these remarks while addressing a gathering organized by National Human Rights Concern Forum, Saturday February 18, 2012.
However, he also pointed his finger at foreign forces though without providing further details. Whether he was pointing towards his New Delhi friends he did not clarify.
But analysts have been told that he wants to warm up his relations with India through K. B. Mahara-the one who is close to New Delhi and Beijing both.
“Some of our political parties in association with foreign forces want the peace process derailed”, he said and added, “Our party will take any risk to get the process completed. The Maoists on its own have been pushing the peace process forward; we will continue make sacrifices for peace.”
“The Constitution drafting process is at a stalled state. We will not let them go who still believe that constitution drafting process cannot continue without ending the peace process first”, he also reminded his detractors.
