New Delhi running parallel administration in Nepal: C. P. Mainali

Nepal Prime Minister Bhattarai is being grilled from all possible political quarters.

But he remains undeterred. He claims he enjoys international backing.

Chandra Prakash Mainali aka CP has said that Prime Minister Bhattarai should immediately tender his resignation as he has already failed in accomplishing the national tasks related with the peace and constitution drafting processes.

According to Mainali, Bhattarai should now resign to facilitate the formation of an all party unity government.

Mainali, the General Secretary of the Marxist-Leninists party, not in the power structure now perhaps hopes that he may be inducted in the unity government.

Says Mainali that he feels the need for the formation of a new government which should be, opines Mainali, under the command of the Nepali Congress.

He made these observations in Damauli, February 17, 2012.

“If the Federal order is adopted aiming at disintegrating the nation-state then my party-the ML-will go against such a move”, opined Mainali-the veteran communist of the bygone era.

He further claimed that if the federal order is based on community lines then the split of the mainland was inevitable.

Mainali also was of the view that while integrating the Maoists army and adjusting its rank in the national Army institution during the integration process, utmost care should be taken in maintaining the professionalism of the Nepal Army.

An aggressive looking communist leader Mainali also alleged that Nepal had become politically unstable simply because New Delhi was running a parallel administration in Nepal.

“If Nepal is to remain stable then the administration being run by New Delhi has to come to an end at the earliest”, concluded Mainali.
