The Chairman of the RPP-Nepal, Kamal Thapa has alleged that the leaders of the major political parties of Nepal were corrupt ones.
He says that the financial embezzlement noted in the distribution of financial assistances to the Maoists Militias tended to be an act wherein all the major party leaders were hand in glove.
He was talking to his cadres in Sanoshri of Bardiya, January 27, 2012.
According to Mr. Thapa, the largest party, the Maoists, have played foul with the money allocated for the Ration of its own Militias which was to the tune of 15, 000 million rupees.
“The Maoists have cheated the nation thus”, claims Thapa.
Had it not been a case of sheer financial irregularity committed by the Maoists party, the Prime Minister Babu Ram Bhattarai could have already formed a high level committee to find out these wrongdoings”, Thapa raised a logical question which was associated with a sort of challenge.
Thapa opined that in the rest of the months the constitution can’t be drafted or even if it is drafted at all then that would be a Charter written with the share-distribution format among the major parties which the population will not accept.
He also alleged the political leaders that they have been raising the issue of federalism based on communal lines which could only encourage communal discord among the Nepalese population.
The country sans democratic system, Thapa summed up.
